Founded in1976, Southern Star Builders has been constructing and renovating custom homes & unique structures between Virginia and New Mexico for over 40 years.

 

Owner Forrest Henry specialized in colonial and East Coast cottage style building until a trip out west in 1992 introduced him to the traditional adobe-made homes that dot the mesas and canyons of New Mexico. Combining sustainable and organic techniques that truly encompass the desert environment has greatly influenced the evolution of Southern Star Builders’ approach to custom home building.
